DISINFECTANT SANITIZER is Health Canada Approved and carries a DIN # of

02499002.

This broad spectrum Virucide, Fungicide, Mildewstat, and Deodorizer is effective on hard surfaces.

It is based on Quatenary Amine Salts (QUATS) and other synergistic ingredients.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Detergent Disinfectant Pump Spray is designed specifically as a general non-acid cleaner and disinfectant for use in hospitals, nursing homes, schools, hotels and restaurants as well as for use in industrial and institutional food processing establishments, kennels, veterinarians and animal hospitals. It is formulated to disinfect hard non-porous, inanimate surfaces such as floors, walls, metal surfaces, stainless steel surfaces, porcelain, glazed ceramic tile, plastic surfaces, bathrooms, shower stalls, bathtubs and cabinets. For plastic and painted surfaces, spot test on an inconspicuous area before use. A rinse with potable water is required for surfaces in direct contact with food. In addition, this product deodorizes those areas which generally are hard to keep fresh smelling, such as garbage storage areas, empty garbage bins and cans, basements, rest rooms and other areas which are prone to odours caused by microorganisms.

DISINFECTION, DEODORIZING AND CLEANING

Remove gross filth or heavy soil prior to application of the product. Hold container 15-20 cm from surface to be treated. Spray area until it is covered with the solution. Allow product to penetrate and remain wet for 10 minutes. No scrubbing is necessary. Wipe off with a clean cloth, mop or sponge. The product will not leave grit or soap scum.

One-Step cleaning and disinfection of toilet bowls and urinals

Remove water from bowl by forcing water over trap with a swab mop applicator. Press swab mop against side of the bowl to remove excess water from applicator. Apply 30-60 mL of this product evenly, allowing sufficient time for product to cover entire surface of bowl for maximum cleaning. Swab bowl completely using a scrub brush or toilet mop, making sure to get under the rim. Let stand for 10 minutes and flush.

BACTERICIDAL ACTIVITY

When used as directed, this product exhibits effective disinfectant activity against the organisms: Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella enterica , Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Eschericha coli, Escherichia coli 0157:H7, Corynebacterium ammoniagenes, Enterococcus faecium, Listeria monocytogenes, Yersenia enterocolitica, Salmonella (typhi) enterica, Vancomycin Resistant Enterococcus faecalis, Vancomycin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus and Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus aureus (VISA), Streptococcus pyogenes (Necrotizing Fasciitis), Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus epidermidis (MRSE), Community Associated Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (CA-MRSA), Klebsiela pneumonia New Delhi Metallo-Beta Lactamase (NDM-1) Carbapenem Resistant and meets the requirements for hospital use.

TUBERCULOCIDAL ACTIVITY

This product exhibits disinfectant efficacy against Mycobacterium terrae when the treated surface is allowed to remain wet for 5 minutes.

BROAD-SPECTRUM VIRUCIDAL ACTIVITY

This product, when used on environmental, inanimate, non-porous surfaces exhibits effective virucidal activity against HIV-1, Hepatitis C Virus (HCV), Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus (BVDV), Human Coronavirus including COVID – 19, Hepatitis A Virus, Norovirus (including Norwalk Virus), Feline Calicivirus, Rabies Virus, Canine Parvovirus, Poliovirus Type 1, Avian Influenza A, Turkey/Wisc/(H9N2), Avian Influenza (H3N2), Influenza A (H1N1), Paramyxovirus, Rotavirus, Rhinovirus type 39 and SARS Associated Coronavirus. DISINFECTION OF POULTRY EQUIPMENT: 

For disinfection of pre-cleaned poultry equipment (brooders, watering founts, feeding equipment). Remove all poultry and feeds from premises, trucks, coops and crates. Remove all litter and droppings from floors, walls and surfaces of facilities occupied or transversed by poultry. Empty all troughs, racks and other feeding and watering appliances. Thoroughly clean all surfaces with soap or detergent and rinse with water. Saturate the surfaces with the disinfecting solution for 10 minutes. Ventilate building, coops and other closed spaces. Do not house poultry or employ equipment until treatment has been absorbed, set or dried. All treated equipment must be rinsed with potable water before reuse.

DISINFECTION OF ANIMAL QUARTERS AND KENNELS: 

WHEN TESTED AGAINST THE PROTOCOL VIRUCIDAL EFFICACY OF DISINFECTANTS FOR USE ON INANIMATE ENVIRONMENTAL SURFACES, EFFICACY TESTS HAVE DEMONSTRATED THAT THIS PRODUCT IS EFFECTIVE AGAINST CANINE PARVOVIRUS IN THE PRESENCE OF ORGANIC SOIL (5% FETAL BOVINE SERUM) For disinfection of pre-cleaned animal quarters and kennels. Remove all animals and feeds from premises, trucks and crates. Remove all litter and droppings from floors, walls and surfaces of facilities occupied or transversed by animals. Empty all troughs, racks and other feeding and watering appliances. Thoroughly clean all surfaces with soap or detergent and rinse with water. Saturate the surfaces with the disinfecting solution for 10 minutes. Ventilate building and other closed spaces. Do not house animals or employ equipment until treatment has been absorbed, set or dried. All treated equipment must be rinsed with potable water before reuse.

KILLS HIV-1 ON PRE-CLEANED ENVIRONMENTAL SURFACES/OBJECTS PREVIOUSLY SOILED WITH BLOOD/BODY FLUIDS in health care settings (Hospitals, Nursing Homes) or other settings in which there is an expected likelihood of soiling of inanimate surfaces/objects with blood or bodily fluids, and in which the surfaces/objects likely to be soiled with blood or bodily fluids can be associated with the potential for transmission of Human Immunodeficiency Virus Type 1.

Special Instructions for Cleaning and Decontamination against HIV-1 of Surfaces Soiled with Blood or Body Fluids

 

Personal Protection: When handling items soiled with blood or body fluids use disposable latex gloves, gowns, masks, or eye coverings. Cleaning Procedures: Target surfaces must be cleaned prior to disinfection, as the presence of heavy soil on a surface may reduce the intended disinfectant efficacy of the product. Contact Time/Concentration: Apply product directly and allow surface to remain wet for 10 minutes.

Infectious materials disposal: 

Any materials used in the cleaning process that may contain blood or body fluids are to be disposed of immediately in accordance with local regulations for infectious materials disposal.

MILDEWSTAT

To control mold and mildew on pre-cleaned, hard, non-porous surfaces spray surface to be treated making sure to wet completely. Let air dry. Repeat application at weekly intervals or when mildew growth appears.

FUNGICIDAL ACTIVITY

This product is fungicidal against the pathogenic fungi, Trichophyton mentagrophytes (Athlete’s Foot Fungus) when used as directed on hard surfaces found in bathrooms, shower stalls, locker rooms, or other clean, non-porous, hard surfaces commonly contacted by bare feet.
